OMT - Tottenham vs. Stoke

Similar to Walker, not sure how he is defensively as originally he started out as a winger, then again same goes for most full backs nowadays.

Lots of teams made 5 or 6 changes today due to injuries, tired players and suspensions over the busy Xmas period

I expect if TS makes changes people will leap on it and say that means TS hates X or loves Y or is an idiot.

Bit of a tricky one this. We need some stability and a consistent team. Yet we need to rotate.

The players need to know their role, and then we can get the most from them over a number of games. We have missed that stability across the midfield. Too many changes without a clear 11.

Will be interesting to see who's selected.

do you mean like when West Ham beat us 0:3?

Surprised it took so long before someone mentioned that.

It was ONE game where they suddenly had a spell where everything went their way. It was freaky to the point of improbable.

If you are continuing the fallacy that it was only one game, then I raise you both Hull games and Liverpool, where our amount of control was just stunning to behold.

I must have been watching a different game than most because i thought we controlled the 2nd half against Brom.

as much as we controlled the first half against Chelsea really. They still had their moments. Luckily we weren't a goal or two down at half time.

We won through a flukey penalty. Controlled the game? No way on earth.

Well it was a blatant penalty, unless handball is allowed nowadays.

I don't really think you have an idea of what controlling the game actually means if you don't think we controlled the game. They brought their bus out of the station a few times and threatened but no more than a Premier League side should do.

my definition of controlling a game is going 2 goals or more up and then retaining possesion...ole football....Norwich is all I can think off.......1-0 up is not control for me......

people have different definitions of control!!!

Im beginning to think we were too easily satisfied.

Now that is something Spurs fans will never be.

loads of people have different definitions of many things in football from offside, to what they think is a good goal, or what handball should be accepted in the box, what is and isn't a penalty. I guess it's why people love a game involving 22 men and a round object!
