Agreed, they were in different positions due to possession, but let's be fair, at that stage in the game you need at least one to play smartly. Toby did look like he might've got there, but therein lies the issue (and has done several times this season). He is slower than he was. Not quite as tight on the turn, not quite as fast as he used to be. He is not the same player as two seasons ago. The first goal is obvious, no need to break that down, a gaffe and those do happen (even though they shouldn't!!!!). But Lloris clearly did not trust him or Sanchez to take care of the situation.
I have to say, I'd love to know how the ref can send Hugo off there in hindsight.
