The Red is ridiculous - a reaction to the injury, not the tackle.

But Son, Moira and Auriers reaction paints the picture. Reminds me of Schmeicel when David Buust broke his leg.

yeah it looked awful, as you say it’s rare to see players reaction like that.

but in real time Sons tackle didn’t look like a red. Didn’t really see Auriers.

I just walked out of the room for 2 seconds and missed it.
Son looked extremely distressed.

Son lungded in from behind, Gomes got his foot in an awkward angle and it snapped. It's no more than a yellow card, but Son get punished because of the injury. Ridiculous.

I don’t think it was that foul.

I think it was the clash with Aurier.

He planted his foot - replay just showed. Sure, Son put him off balance but Gomes got his foot caught in the turf.
