I'm really not sure how it's calculated. Is it from when the player that scores gets the ball, or is it just from the position the shot is taken? If the latter, it would be a fairly high xg.

I think part of it is how we are now stretching the pitch, we are now creating spaces as we are not all bunched up going sides and backward at a snails pace
