I must have said this a lot by now, but - solid, professional, completely dominating performance. Bournemouth were lucky to get nil, and truth be told we could have had ten on a different day.
As always, Toby-Jan were faultlessly solid (although there was nothing for them to really be concerned about) - Walker and Davies were decent (although I felt like they could have been more productive than they ended up being), Kane got his goal but could have had three, Son could have had four but ended up with just the one (again, the Son Heung-Min story
), and Eriksen and Alli kept things moving (although Eriksen was a mite off with his shooting) with contemptuous ease. But the MotM was undoubtedly Mousa - Big D ran the show today, and finally got a goal to boot.
That last one got the biggest cheer, and for understandable reasons - the relief and joy on Janssen's face was lovely to watch. But Big D was the man most deserving of plaudits, and I hope he gets them.

There are no easy games in the Premier League, but I think we're entering a period now where it will be more difficult for us than it has been over the last month or so. Arsenal and United will be massive, massive tests at home, and our away games are all *really* tricky in one form or another (Palace will want a scalp to seal survival, West Ham have their cup final against us, we always struggle against Leicester and Hull might need a win to stay up when they play us on the final day). Thus, it was vital that we go into it with the best possible cushion in terms of points and distance to both Arsenal in 6th (or wherever they are) and to 5th place more broadly. We've done that, in rip-roaring fashion (22 goals in 7 or so games now, is it? that's incredible stuff), and full credit goes to Poch and the team for making it happen.
74-76 points would be a massive achievement, independent of any other ambitions we may have or the performances of the teams around us. That's 3 to 5 points from 6 games - despite the difficult run-in, that's still an eminently achievable target.
To dream of the title and everything else that goes with it is another step entirely. To have a chance of that, we'd have to go into these next six games the same way we approached the last six or so - with the determination to score hatfuls and win them all, home or away. And *that* will be a feat of legendary proportions, if we could pull it off. :
