Can't complain about the result, Wolves deserved their win. We were awful in the 2nd half. Not great in the first, but did ok due to Wolves not pressing and Harry's wonder hit.

We were tired, but I think our worst performers were players who have just had a rest, which were Trippier and Moura. WTF was Moura doing, trotting about, not getting involved. Hope Poch gives him a slap, because that isn't acceptable, it was like going down to 10 men when Dele went off.

Also think Lloris isn't totally safe in the number 1 spot anymore. Gazza looks a bit ropey but he's made some awesome saves in the games he's played. Think Hugo has to up it a bit more. Still number 1 for now, but imo he needs to raise his game a bit.

Disappointing result, we just have to keep doing what we have so far this season when we get beat, bounce back with a run of wins. The fixtures are all winnable if we play to our level.

I could see it playing out in my mind, I was screaming at Trippier and Winks, because the weak fudges kept turning the ball over and you could see how Wolves were going to score and well, they did. For the life of me I do not know why Poch didn't hook the pair of them and change the formation.

The simple truth of the matter is if you do not strengthen your squad and you have loads of injuries you will eventually come up and short and things like this will happen.

Bringing on Foyth to screen the back 4 was an idea. Then keep Sissoko and Winks compact and tight. Disapointing result. Two steps forward, one step back.

While that is true, we stopped really playing after we scored. So I don't think fatigue was wholly to blame. Not on 30 mins or whatever. Wolves are a veryy good side. You can't 'see out' a game against them at 1-0 as we just learnt.

Really missing midfielder reinforcements tho. Brining on Dier or Wanyama where Winks and Sissoko faded badly second half, having played too many games, woudl have helped.

Eriksen and Winks were gone (and Sissoko to a degree). That's why we we stopped playing. We turned it over to them so many times because people didn't have the energy to run off the ball etc and make space.

You cant get through 4 games in 10 days with 2 CMs.

Winks showed his limitations today. he just doesn't hurt the opposition. All he does is make simple little ten yard passes of no consequence and even then sometimes he doesn't make them. I don't think we can expect to get away with a midfield comprised of him and Sissoko. One maybe, but not both. The midfield created nothing today.

This was probably Eriksen's fault as much as anybody, he had a stinker of a game. But he runs a lot of yards and today was probably just one game too many for him. I think we hoped to just walk our way to a win today and just nick it, at half-time it looked possible. But when Wolves upped it, we had no answer from the bench and nothing in the tank on the pitch. We need Dier and Lamela fit again so we can give the others more of a break.

Yeeeeeesh, could see even when we were ahead that this was probably leading into being our worst performance of the season. But that was really bad. Only played to come out of it with any credit really is Toby.

Big shame because we are usually relentless at Christmas, tuned in perfectly to exploit this period. So what was it? We clearly couldn’t rotate the midfield, and even Eriksen’s touch looked really poor.

Maybe the additional rotation earlier in the season means we are not quite as ready to peak at this point as we usually are - and hopefully we will be ok as the season progresses. We just had no inspiration today, it was really, really bad.

Also thinking our ‘long pass’ tactic has kind of been found out today. It just looked like we were aimless rather than having a plan to attack space quickly. We just looked so bad.

They pushed up behind Sissoko and Eriksen and Winks couldn’t deal with it, with that, the constant turnovers and Kane’s/Son’s inability to hold anything up it was one way traffic.

If Poch tried to change it it didn’t work, it was a good 15 mins between their change and the equaliser.
