OMT. Tottenham v Burnley.

Well, we should've scored at least two more in that half. I'm a bit tempted to get Alli off, even though he's been good. They're no doubt going to target him in the second to get him on a red.

Should be out of sight.
Why do they keep saying it could have been red for Dele, the defenders follow through hit Dele.

HT 1-0 . We really should have been out of sight. Hope it’s not like Liverpool v L’Arse yesterday.

Kane leading the line much better today. He is much more mobile. Should have been a tad less greedy occasionally. Sissy - really bad miss.

We bossed that half and apart from Aurier brain fart rarely looked in trouble.

Davies has got into great positions but has put in shocking crosses. Would swap him for Rose ASAP.

There would have been no calling for an Alli red tonight had it not been for the De Bruyne incident last weekend.

Far from confident that re: 2nd half though.. we need another goal or two.

he had both feet off the ground, it’s a textbook red, he’s lucky

Overall quite a poor first half from us, the Spurs of recent seasons would have put this game to bed by now and I'm not just talking about the missed easy chances, I'm talking about poor players and poor decisions preventing us from having a glut of clear chances to score against what has been an awful Burnley performance.

It's obvious why we have gone backwards, selling the best right back in the world and replacing him for a wild player who refuses to take his man on and gives up when chasing back. And of course sissoko being in the side, a player of this ability shouldn't even make our bench. To be fair we have been unlucky with injuries too, so that has also been a major reason why we have gone backwards.

Davies has also been awful in this game but on a plus note Dele looks at it again.

Should be at least 0-2 up. Sissoko misses unforgivable! Kane should have passed and maybe scored another.

Burnley came into it a bit more towards the end of the half. They will come out and pressure us more. Let's hope we don't rue the first half misses.

We will obviously get punished here

He did, but there was no other player where he was directing his legs. I'm fairly sure it's within the rules to go in two footed on the ball.

The defender came in and actually made contact with Alli, not the other way around.

He has his challenging foot outside the width of the player, he wasn’t diving in with two feet. It’s a yellow but it isn’t a red. The Burnley player almost committed as much as Dele did and raked his studs off his back.

I thought Oliver was great early in the half and made the right decisions, not bowing to pressure, but he totally fell apart towards the end. Burnley are super aggressive in the tackle and we’re getting no protection.

That said, I fully expect us to win this, fairy comfortably. We’ve got great balance to this team, we’ve got a proper defensive midfielder back in midfield and we are pressing well. The entire team looks comfortable in possession. This is the Spurs under Poch I know. If we don’t win this it will be because we will have been careless - because we will create more chances.
