****OMT - TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs WOOLWICH ARSEnal****

I couldnt care less what time our manager or players support, I would prefer if they all supported Spurs as a kid but it not the end of the world if they followed other teams including Arsenal. As long as they give their all when they play for Spurs thats fine with me.

Agreed, if he's good enough and succeeds for us I'm fine with whatever thoughts he had earlier in his life.

Bergkamp apparently followed Spurs because of Hoddle, don't think Arsenal had anything against having him in their team.

Yeah.

At the time, though he is coy about admitting it, he was a Millwall fan – just following his best friend's dad, who took him to matches. As soon as he was old enough to pick his own team, he assures me, it was Spurs all the way.

Most players would go supporting the clu they play for. Who knows TS has been here so long now that he may well, in a naturally organic way, become to support us. I just think its nonsense when whatever team he supports is aimed at him to demean him or something

I would be frustrated with a loss (as long as we actually show up) just because it's Arsenal and they all pipe up. But it wouldn't bother me. I still think our only hope of silverware this year the Capital One Cup or the Europa League so it won't frustrate me going out early in the FA Cup. Will be interesting to see our line up though and how we go about things, we've rarely dominated Arsenal for possession and I don't expect us too.

I just hope he doesn't go with the same sort of plan he went with against Man Utd where we sort of set up on the counter because Arsenal are much more clinical in possession than Manchester United are, especially this season. Arsenal have the best defensive record in the league, and sure, we've scored a few goals recently under new management but we are still a side that have struggled to score goals all season. They aren't.

I find it a bit of a shame some are not up for the cup. FA cup is still special for me...goes down in the history books if we win it....not getting 4th.

whats this like only the 5th time or something we have played them in the competetions history.

Tis a special game for me....under the lights.....think this is going to be an epic game.

and I think some are underestimating what a win for us could mean........beating them would be the equivalent of slapping them in the face for their season.

Hope the players have the eye of the tiger.....really want us to prevail....COYS!!!

perhaps im just really petty.

but the opportunity for us to deny them another trophy is more than enough to get me motivated for this.

I think we'd all love it.

Just rather lose to them in this cup than in the league personally.

I think we can discount the Capital One Cup. ;)

What has football become? more obsessed with finishing 4th than winning Silverware LOl this is not what Spurs are about. This is our biggest game of the season simple as that and anyone old enough to remember the glory days like beating scum at Wembley in 1991 will tell you how much this means.

Question for fellow fans.....

what memory do they consider more special????

Crouch's headed winner vs city securing 4th.......Bentley's pants.....Arry soaked

or

Woodgate's winner vs Chelsea winning the league cup.

Ill admit its a toughy for me but I would say that wembley win edges it.....will never forget that day....singing in the pub with my mates the looks of utter disbelief from the chelsea fans.

Wembley everytime in fact I remember that day as one big party. Don't get me wrong getting into the Champions League was good but what did it herald? we was never going to win it and haven't been back there since. And it's silly to suggest that you can't try and focus on all Cups. Looks how many Leagues and Cups United, Chelsea etc have won in recent times.

I can understand that......I know the Premier League has become an all conquering mega juggernaut......but I still love the FA CUP always have done......one of my early memories beating forest in 91....and before that the semi-final......gazza's free kick.....feck me:)

What if in addition to Crouch's winner, Bentley's pants, Redknapp's soaking you add Bale's hat trick at San Siro and the Macin roasting as we played Inter off the park at WHL, The win against Milan, the draw against Milan to bring us through and so on and so on.

Qualifying for the CL is only the beginning of the fun...

answer the question smarty pants;)

Crouch's winner meant much more ultimately.

Wigan won the FA Cup last year, they're playing Championship football, in fact if you ask me in 10 years who won the FA Cup 2012/2013, I wouldnt be able to tell you it was the year Wigan won it. But you ask me in 10 years, who secured Tottenhams place in the CL, I'll tell you it was Crouch and I'll tell you it was against Emirates Marketing Project.

If Crouch hadn't scored that winner against Emirates Marketing Project and got us CL football, who knows where we would be. If Woodgate hadn't scored that winner against Chelsea, Berbatov would have still gone.
