I just hope we show up for this one. If we start the game with anything close to the intensity we had against Arsenal I would say we have a very good chance of winning almost regardless of who AVB picks in his starting 11 out of the obvious options.

West Ham will be well up for this and they will look to fight us out of our style.
 
I'm going to stick my neck out and say that not only will Spurs win today, we'll win comfortably and play some attractive football into the bargain.

We're all due a decent result and I think today will signal the end of our slump and a climb up the Table.

This is the first game I've been to this season. Super-hyped. There's lots at stake here today. It really is a must-win.

It is due. And for those 17 minutes we were by far the better team last weekend. We might need a bit of luck and an early goal to settle the team and fans.

Missing Ade, who was running the show at Arse, not having a settled fluent midfield, and Dempsey not playing with complete confidence, means we have weaknesses. An early long range goal from Dempsey would be nice, and open wham up, who will likely sit back and frustrate.

I am in Liverscum st now and is it just me but are West Spam fans just grimey? They all look alike, sound alike and complete ****s alike?

Was in the tesco and two of em berating this old checkout lady. I stepped in and security guard too... fudgein tossers

I'm just having a full breakfast in the spurs cafe opposite the ground. Cannot wait to get in the stadium. I want to see some quality football and not for us to struggle like previous home games

AVB... please start Dawson instead of gallas to deal with Carroll better. You know it makes sense!

Carroll is nothing more than a Lummox.

But I do agree that Dawson is the better option than Gallas.
 
Losing is not an option today, we have to win or I think we'll end the season with yet another change of manager.
I so desperately want AVB to succeed but haven't seen much to suggest he will at the moment.
I'd drop Dempsey and play Carroll in the middle with Sandro next to him and Dembele just ahead of them.
Dempsey does nothing to warrant a starting role imo.

The defense has conceeded far to many goals too so why not give Dawson a go. Showing some humility and giving Daws a chance will surely show the players and fans that AVB is adaptable, this is what we want to see.
We also need to move off the ball better and play with more intensity. Get the ball out wide to Lennon and Bale and have players running into space to receive the ball. This "pressing" game or whatever the fudge it is hasn't been working so we need to see a change in attitude from all of them including the manager.

It's time to wake up and regain that 3rd place, yes 3rd place ffs, that's where we were for most of last season so that's where we should be now. We have better players than the likes of WBA and Everton so we need to get ourselves sorted. 6 points from our next 2 home games a muist!!

You should get a knife ready then. Find it highly unlikely that neither would start. AVB seems to have Gallas down as a starter in the league and have DEmpsey ahead of Sig
