Can't really complain at the line up too much.


Caroll might have been useful, but can understand the reasoning for not starting him. Dembele not yet ready for the full 90 which is unfortunate. Dempsey starts, but i can't really see many other options with sig also in bad form and ade suspended.

Yes but it's not saying much is it? For every decent game he's played he's had a poor one - Emirates Marketing Project, Arsenal and Lazio spring to mind already.

But it is saying much. You're pretty much agreeing that he has been our second best player yet you're bolding him and not Bale who Lennon has been better than? Lazio when he was our captain and best player on the pitch? No one was good against Emirates Marketing Project except Sandro (who has been the only one better than him this year) and no one was good against Arsenal after Ade was sent off except Sandro (who has been the only better play than him this year).
 
Going for names in stead of player types on bench gives us less options.
Livermore, Carroll, Dembele, Sigurdsson
it would be better to have someone creative or more attacking players in stead of some of these 4 central midfielders
When is Pritchard ever going to get his shot? Falque would be good, even someone young striker - Coulthirst, Coulibaly etc.
This gives us little chance to change the game if needed. It's not as bad as the two goal keepers or 2 centreback + 2 strikers that we've seen in the past, but still ..

I don't agree. The only criticism I would have is no striker. Carroll is creative, Sigg is hard working and has a goal in him, Livermore is reliable. Can't really describe Dembele but what he does works!
