That whole bit of play has been coming... Livermore chased out too far so Sandro felt he had to dive in and give away a freekick, and they scored from all that.

Livermore has far better energy than Thudd but that doesn't mean he should chase all the way up the pitch.

Terrible defending by Caulker at the set piece, but despite his great near post save Friedel has to take 50% of the blame for that coming out for a ball he should have stayed on his line for.

defoe has been giving the ball away all game. probably because he knows no one can come on for him if he does brick.
