Lloris should just kick it hard up the middle every time. That's all he is capable of and at least it wont give the opposition a chance to immediately attack over and over.

You forget an important one, Poor technical players. You know I've been saying it for about 5 years now but we have no one who actually caresses the ball. Bentancur is the closest to it, but he's sadly not enough. The 3 identikit midfielders just don't cover a wide enough range of attributes. Not really good defensively, definitely not good enough attacking wise either.

Conte might have been a serial winner at the other clubs. He hasn't got a chance here, we have not had a winning mentality within the squad here for years. He won't change that.
I really would get Pochettino back in and soon, we would not win any more games than we are winning now, but I would like to think the football would at least be better to watch.
The ways things are panning out at present. We will probbaly stutter to 6th or 7th come May. Fall into the CL Last 16 before losing to one of big boys. And get knocked out of the domestic cups once we draw one of the big 6 in them

Fickle. Always judge the performance not the score. From a mangers perspective we've done enough to be leading this game. The setup was okay. Defensive mistakes the issue.

Hugo's worst game in a Spurs shirt and it's only half-time - but to be fair, he saved us a hiding against United so it evens out.
But he's at that stage now - Gomes level, where despite the magnificent saves, there will always be a question mark whenever you see him near the ball. The instability Gomes created has returned to our backline, imo, and it's partly down to Hugo - his poor kicking, his questionable decision making.
It's also down to Dier being completely mediocre and playing bombscares like Sanchez, though. Look at how easily Dier gets left behind by a simple ball through the middle and forces Lloris to come out - his distribution has also been woeful, and it's an example of why he holds us back.
And in general it's a lack of spine throughout the side, too. The second goal - look at how weak Sessegnon is contesting that. 1-0 down, need a reaponse, he gets outmuscled by a determined midget and Lenglet lumbers across and gets left in the dust.
This side are cowards. I said it before, will say it again - utter cowards, who play well when the pressure is off and fold like cardboard otherwise.
For the second half, throw Perisic on for Skippy (who has been brick, but understandably so), have him babysit the useless Sessegnon + play up the field as a forward, he's done it before. Go 3-4-3, pray like hell.
