Lennon has been at the club a long time and been a model pro. Your opinion of his ability as a player has nothing to do with him being a suitable captain. In fact it's a very suitable honour for a long serving player.
 
Forest good for an hour, then tired. We were uninspiring and lacking confidence and concentration.

We have two new teams. Neither of which look like settled and confident.

We also have some decent young players.

But the problem remains for Poch - lots of similar ability players and he needs to build a first team from them. Its the same problem AVB and Sherwood had. Poch needs time, he is building on little foundation from last season. He needs time to get one team, let alone two, settled.
 
I'll be lower my expectation for the performance next time when i find Townsend is starting whoever we are playing against.

yeah he is the only one who had the guts to turn don Man Utd, Emirates Marketing Project, Real Madrid and Barcelona when they came calling =D> legend

Only been here for ages as no other team would buy him, done nothing for the past 5 years
 
And what does any of that have to do with him being captain tonight? If you're going to **** him off, at least make it about something reasonable.

What have we to lose seriously. Revert back to old transfer policy, young English talent with potential from lower leagues before their price gets inflated.

Spot on. It was just like the bad old AVB days for most of the game. 442 is a must against teams sitting back at the Lane until we get a forward that can play up top by himself. Benteke could be that man if he gets fit and rediscovers his form of a couple of years ago. Bring back Holtby and sell Pauli, Lennon, Capoue and Chich.
