fair enough. Personally I don't see what that changes, if Lamela is good enough he should be playing and he's good enough. Can't be using the "travelling" excuse for Lamela not starting here if Paulinho is playing. Eriksen has been at the club the exact same time as Lamela, if anything Holtby deserves a start.
 
I think nobody is expecting fireworks from Eriksen but Lamela is our record signing and he is a young guy.

If he starts and struggles that is not going to do his confidence any good. Coming on as a sub with a couple of good runs will get the crowd on his side.
 
Gonna be a tricky one, Palace already showing that by defending deep and staying solid, even down to 10 men you can stop even the best teams creating anything. Don't think United have created one clear-cut chance all game so far....

Exactly, Lamela is our record signing and has been billed as the closest of our purchases to being Bales replacement. The pressure on him will be large.

Yet he can't speak a word of English and has trained maybe a couple of times with the club? Let's give him a little bit of time.

I think too many people are maing a huge fuss. I couldnt care less if this guy played today or not but I do think that there isnt as good a time as any to start him than at home against the likes of Norwich. Not sure what our next few games are like but this game seems the best bet for him.

Cardiff possibly could be a good game for him - on the counter etc.

Chelsea and West Ham would be tough for him - especially west ham who would no doubt want to kick lumps
