Well there are no easy games, but there will be plenty of chances and if we take them, soldado could fill his boats here.

I know what youre saying and i still see AVB as two steps forward one step back... but I think we will be forced into it. They will score first and we will have to come out.

Funny thing is I think we will start like a train and score first; forcing them to come out. Our midfield muscle will take over from then I think, especially with them missing Gerrard and Henderson.

That is unless Hugo or Dawson have another mare....

I think we will be tip top on Sunday.......

Im gonna hold fire on Dawson..... he's had a break this week so hopefully he will help contain suarez & Coutinho....

I think we will be really up for this and dominate...... we can dominate midfield and I expect us to.....this game could be the start of a run for us...........potential egg on face for me but I think this is the game where we will really show up........get to 30 points, get in the mix........make an effin statement to the rest of the league!!!!!!!

That was a lot earlier in the season though -- and, especially taking into account the players missing for Liverpool, the Arsenal midfield is a lot better.

Also, we played Paulinho deeper against Arsenal, with Dembele further up (that's my memory of it anyway). More recently, we've used Paulinho further forward against Utd, and it worked much better.

I fancy our trio to do the business in this game.

If Defoe starts instead of Soldado it's kinda whatever for me at this point. I feel the rest of the team almost picks itself assuming no new injury news before the game.

If Defoe was in a rich vein of form, he would start, but he's not and Soldado's goals last night mean he should start.
For me, he should play Lamela, Eriksen and Lennon behind Soldado. Rose and Walker give us width from their full back positions.
I'd put dembele and Sandro in front of the back four.

I know everyone honours Townsend but I don't get it. For all his huffing and puffing his end product is pretty much none existent. One assist in the league this season for all the time he's had on the ball is, I think, poor. Lamela hasn't found his feet but is more likely to create something than Townsend is.
 
I know all footy fans are know-it-alls but talking to and reading any liverpools fans opinion makes you very quickly realise how condescending they sound. They instantly think they know what our problem is as a football club, how they should be able to easily play through us and how average we are.

I'd like to point out that:

Haven't finished above us for how long?

I'm not saying they haven't got a decent side now but I just can't believe how arrogant most come across and how they genuinely think they'll steam roller us, on our own turf.

I know all teams have idiot fans but they do seem to have more than most
