Winks MoM for me but boy was it a tough call. We normally has one or two clear favs, but there were several today. And that's from a game we were, let's face it, far from convincing. If LCFC had an ounce of their shooting boots on we'd have struggled.
Also, no option for Eriksen as MoM??
The way Llorente was assaulted by Evans and Maguire was an absolute tinkle-take. Just because he's a big, strong striker doesn't mean defenders have carte blanche to kick and rugby tackle the brick out of him.
Oliver was shocking, the worst I've seen in a long while. It's occasions like this I wish Poch would call it out and try get us protected. I know he had a dig at Son's booking, but he could have really let fly in general. I know that probably goes against his character though.
Also, did Leicester fans actually watch the first half? Oliver gave us literally nothing and booked three players when they weren't even bookings. The ironic cheers when he finally gave us a free kick usually is a sign of how bad a referee is performing.
He got MOTM on sky but at the gam I thought he was poor

Will add I took my daughter to her first game... she loved the travelling (who loves that), the chippy, the shop, the stadium... 12 minutes into the game... Dad im bored, can we go home
I feel like Ive been complaining about Refs a lot lately, and have been wondering if they are that bad, or am I being sensitive?
And honestly I think its because they are that bad! He was truly shocking.
Or reminding Lloris of what punishment he’s avoided “this is how far up your colon I’d have rammed the lemon to dispel your bad penalty record aura!”Winks is offering Hugo a celebratory fisting

My youngest was the same... I started taking him when he was about 7, and for several years, the highlight was always the kebab on the High Road before the game! He's 14 now and doesn't even want to sit with me anymore (rather being with his mates!) but he still can't wait to get back to the High Road kebabs!Re: Your daughter - haha brilliant, I again know what you mean. How old is she? I started taking mine to games at about 6 or 7. At first it was just a few friendlies and those 3rd round FA Cup ties against lower opposition. Games that meant I could focus on her and not the match. Getting her as close to the front so she could recognise the players and feel the action. But she too got bored at times and would often be aimlessly looking round the stadium or at her sweets and not the pitch. Guess it's just getting used to the environment when young.
Now however, she's 14 and we always sit in the upper tiers as she wants to understand the formations, player movements, banks of four etc etc. She's developed a much better grasp of how the game works and what to look for. Things you just can't see when at pitch level.
Persist with it mate!! Next generation and all that.

Leicester or London? Puel or Pochettino? Mid-table or Champions League? Jonny Evans or Toby & Jan?
I guess you are less, less, less right in this case...
Most on here went on and on about how poor Eriksen was.... Must have been watching a different game than us. I think he was one of, if not our best. But he only got 1 goal and 1 assist. They were applauding him for finally dealing with our dirty, cheating divers. Apparently we're constantly getting away with stuff.
I normally defend refs as they really have an impossible job and the fault lies with fans/FA/clubs/players for the standard we have now.
However this season it is almost like they have given up knowing VAR is coming in next season.
I'm torn on Eriksen's performance at the moment, don't get me wrong he is one of my favourite players, but it seems to me that for a while now he has misplace quite a few simple passes and his first touch seems to let him down more often than it used to, but he is still getting those assists and goals.
I think that it might be down to perception as last season especially he was so good that any slight mistake is exaggerated as it so unexpected.
On a side not I also think he is off to Barca in the summer and that might be affecting his performance
They're running away with the bollox idea they "played us off the park". Fluke one title and think they're it. Have they ever even spent more than about ten years straight in the top flight in their history? Bigger delusions of grandeur than West Ham.
