People said the same about Rooney. I'm not necessarily disagreeing but it's almost making excuses for him. I get that he's got fire in his Dele belly (sorry couldn't resist) but he has got to find way to channel it better besides kicking people needlessly and making horrific tackles.

I'm happy to take him as he is. His hot head is one of the only downsides to his game and he does not let us down very often. If he can cut it out and still keep the fight in his game, he will be one hell of a player.

Of all the many, many things I hate about this pathetic excuse for a competition, the refs are at the very top of the list.
