It's great that werner and spence have suddenly become the answer to our problems, wasn't so long ago fans were groaning when they were on the team sheet.
I am also delighted that the youngsters who should not be playing in the cup games or it looks like we aren't taking them seriously have turned into PL quality players.

Yeh but I don't think we will get that this season either. I mean it's a long season. Who know how things pan out. We have 8 players out again. We have dropped so many points already and still have to go away to all the stadiums we hardly ever win at.

At least last year we had like a 10 game unbeaten buffer then form tailed off. We will need to have a great run in at some point

But your forgetting Sons misses
The ones he missed today were ones where Werner would get hammered for
Playing son as a striker is detrimental to the team if we have another option who is a striker

It’s not about the quality
It’s about having pakyers who can do a. Job
We’re down or bare bones so trying to squeeze more out of someone that’s broken tends to just break them more
How do poll know Bradley can play right back?
They played him
How do they know Kelleher can play? They played him
They didn’t shunt an old head out there to fill a val or panic and sign a freebie. They trusted the squad they chose

So in a team already missing several key figures you take out the senior players and put in teenagers.

While I concede he is decline and has been for some time, does anyone else think he’s carrying something like the Conte season? A hernia / groin issue?

GHod, this is painful atm. I really can’t fathom the subs, or rather lack thereof today. Mental. Porro should’ve been off and Johnson was also blowing out of his arse from 60 mins on too and unable to track back.

There was no prob with the team that started today, the issue was with not changing it when it wasn't working.
Son was terrible yet left on and Porro has been run into the ground and was in obvious need of a rest.
Even those two subs and brining Kulu on earlier would've been something.

It is mind blowing that instead of managing Son’s minutes he’s not only starting his 3rd game in 8 days but also playing out of position, whilst Lankshear is getting splinters from sitting on the bench. At least give the young CF a chance to soften up Fulham’s defence before bringing on the wily old winger to try and exploit their tiring legs.

Meanwhile Porro playing another 90 minutes at RB even though he was clearly knackered by the end of the Roma match and there’s Archie Gray plus Djed Spence sat amongst the subs.

I’d take out Son or play him left wing
I’d gladly rest players who are broken

If a managers reacts to fans he has lost the plot
I mean I had two bell ends behind me moaning all game about Brennan. One was even screaming about 10 seconds before he scored “chase back you £$nt”… his face was a picture when we all turned to him after the goal. Fans are stupid
But equally a manager trying to squeeze everything out of a player who has nothing is dumb

Could be injured but also with his age and poor first touch be can’t get away form his men
And at CF he literally walks away form the the job and retreat. He doesn’t what the physical side. It’s not his game
He did randomly get a header late first half which I was stunned at
Ange is actually making huge issues for himself now IMO
Son… broken and may be fitness
Johnson… we do not have an alternative on that side. That’s scary
Then add in missing two hold up players and Ange ball became a scatter gun

No it's not. I admire it. BUT, we are stretched at the moment, so we need to be clever about how we manage the squad and how we manage individual games, so should be a tad more cynical and clever. The way we play and use our squad now, will only mean more injuries as soon as we get one back. If not even worse! Some are getting more game time than they can handle now, despite having options there. That comes in addition to those having to play because we have little, if any, adequate backup now.
It's a vicious circle that can, and probably will, get worse if Ange doesn't come to sense!
