*** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Fiorentina 2nd leg ***

Taking off Bentaleb and not putting Mason on? Wasn't the best move in hindsight.

Time for Verts to play upfront, get Hugo up for set pieces too.

This has been a comedy show second half, can't believe it's the same team out there that has been steadily improving for so long now..

The pitch looks very heavy and slow tonight, but boy do we miss that directness in our side. Fiorentina have hit us on counter attacks and our defending has put us in this position.

Some decent play through the middle but we really do miss having width in games like these. Something that we need to add. Then again the first leg was the one where we should have won it and despite not wanting to find fault with Poch, I do think he should've gone all out for that game.

Edit: At the start of the season I didnt think we had a chance, but as the season has gone on I thought we did. This leg at least was there for the taking.

This loss is down the players. Regardless of system, fiorentina over two legs are as poor a side as I remember from a top league and whatever mix of 11 we put out should have been enough to score at least once more and force their hand

Cheap, they have wanted this more than us and its shown. We laughed at Arsenal who underestimating Monaco, but clearly our squad is not good enough for a tournament our fans think is below us.

Stambouli, Davies, Fazio, Lamela and Soldado are not good enough.

Do we need this discussion every time we lose a game? We all know that there is work to be done with the squad but singling out players and incessant complaining doesn't change anything.

I think the breadth of Soldado's mistake tonight cant be underestimated. From that point on we really seemed to lose our way.

I watched them a couple of weeks back and thought we'd have no problem at least winning the home leg.

The same players that are brick every game? They are not good enough and i can name a few players who have left the club (Not mentioning superstars) who would do a better job.
