I have supported Spurs long enough so I am used to disappointing results but as soon as Winks came on I said to my son we would not get anything from the game. How he has played for England is beyond me. Surely we have some youngsters who could have given a better cameo appearance than that?
I`m just glad it didn`t go to penalties. Dreading the game at the weekend now. Sadly I cant see Levy splashing the cash to buy the players we need to upgrade our squad in the summer. We need to trim all the deadwood and get some new talent in but I`m afraid we wont spend the money required to get real top class players. They will end up at the big spenders as usual, and if we don`t get into europe we will be less attractive to top class players.
How long do you think Mourinho will get? A few months into next season? I would get rid now, we aren`t progressing under him, apart from a couple of games this season has been gash

Winks gets pelters for giving away the fifth goal single-handedly and then not doing one single thing right (not one - not a single fudging one) for the rest of the game, mate. Surely you have to concede that.

Because PEH (like Lloris) has credit in the bank, it's easy to say "they are human"

Winks has no credit in the bank, came on, played brick, gave the ball away that led to the goal that cost us the game .. easy to see why people get wound up.

They made 8 passes after his rooster up
And we had 7 men behind the ball when theh made the killer pass
Winks mistake was poor. The rest of the al called defending was as bad

and that’s the issue
credit in the bank for the past when they were good (not Hojdjberg who ha agenwtally bene great all season)
People rate the players because of how good they were a long while ago

I think hojbjerg has enough in the bank to be forgiven and still made an impression on the game for 120 minutes - winks came on with a point to prove, had already been caught in possession needlessly once before doing it again and costing us a goal. His whole play was poor for the shirt time he was one of the freshest players in the pitch.
He’s not the only one who let us down tonight but I struggling to think of one positive contribution.

Yeah, but Winks was supposed to be fresh legs on the field, mate. The guy sho wouldn't make a mistake that utterly atrocious.

He wasn't - if anything he was worse than everyone else despite coming on close the fudging end.

If you're our bombscare of a defense, you see Winks get the ball and you expect him to carry it past the exhausted Everton blokes.

So you relax. Then you can only watch with horror as Winks brainlessly lumbers into their surprised players like a goddamn corpse and gives the ball away.

Yes, they defended it atrociously. But Winks was the worst offender in that goal, and in general.

Happened? So no blame on Peh for gifting the ball 25 yards from our goal, but blame for a keeper not stopping a very well struck volley that he hasn't had time to set himself for?
OK.
Until Peh had his horror 10 mins we were very comfortable, if anyone is to blame it's him.
Not that I do blame him, these things happen and he has probably been our best player this season.

PEH has been amazing most of the season, I'd actually say the last few games not so much, but he's probably fudging exhausted.

Lloris makes saves that keeps us in games, even this season, so again, like it or not, more likely to be forgiven.

To come into a game at 90 minutes, fresh, against tired opposition, play trash, kill the tempo of the game and give the ball away that loses the match? fudge .. you really question why people are going crazy?

I’m not so sure about Lloris, he picked up initially under Jose but it seems to me that he make mistakes when it matters.
