OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs. Everton *** 29/08/2015 - 5:30pm

Very frustrating again and yes two points dropped...some observations

-Defensively good, we looked far better for having Rose in the side.
-Dier had an excellent game apart from nearly losing his cool....semi convinced he could grow into that role.
-We lacked balance as all our good stuff seemed to come down the left, I really dont like Dembele behind the striker...hope he's ok though.
-Kane is feeling the pressure and its the clubs fault he has had to carry such a big burden for these 4 games.
-Mason for me, I dunno...I really missed Eriksen, I just dont see Mason as a first 11 player
-Pritchard for Mason should have happened 10 mins earlier.

That was a decent performance. You can't ask for better chances than the ones we had today. Doesn't help much when we don't take them, though. Three points from four games is a horrible start, to be honest. We need to play like we did in the second half more often at home, though. Be positive, have a real go and play with some enthusiasm. The crowd gets behind the team straight away then, even if it's 0-0.

Chadli, Dier and Mason our best players for me. I think Pritchard should have been on earlier though. Preferably for Bentaleb.

On a side note, I have no idea how Mike Jones is a Premiership referee. He has been rubbish for years. No understanding of the game whatsoever. Why can't they get rid of him? They could pick any man or woman off the street, and they wouldn't do any worse. It seems like when a referee first gets in, they are there for good until they are forced to retire, not matter how brick they are.

I did not think it was a penalty on Alli.

Alot of the refs decision making was infuriating though....walkers handball that never was.

I thought he got the margin calls a bit wrong and he missed the pen on alli but he was generally a decent ref

He got soft - no doubt due to the Cleverley injury. I don't think it was a penalty on Alli either to his defence (from the couple of times I saw the replays).

Kane is dropping too deep, too often and he is trying to do too much. Mason is a nearly man. He nearly controls the ball, he nearly makes the pass, he nearly scores. Not a starter in my book. In defence we were great, apart from that error from Walker. Toss up between Rose and Dier for man of the match.

Decent performance, albeit a bit frustrating having no other options up front because as usual we have left it so late to do our dealings in the transfer market.

Looking forward to the pace of N'Jie offering something else up front.

True. A bit like Sigggurddssson, always nearly scoring and nearly being awesome but never achieving it.

I suspect some of the love for Mason comes from Grimsby Yid's ridiculous, over the top whining at every opportunity.

You can line em up sure, but you can't "sign" anyone in May
But allows you time to get paperwork done early and make work permit applications.
Which means the player has a bit more time to settle in. So you should be talking as soon as season is over, if not before, especially if player is not involved for their club.
