It's not exactly the possession football you'd associate with a Poch side, Everyon are doing it better than we are, but we do at least look dangerous whilst being relatively comfortable at the back.

Rose, Dier and Mason standouts.

I don't associate possession with what I consider to be a 'true' Poch side, though. Ruthlessly quick, counter-attacking, relentless pressing....these things, you can probably expect to get from a Bielsa-lite team, but keeping possession isn't the primary aim, as the ball gets sent forward quite directly most of the time as a general rule.

I wouldn't change it, Everton are far to experienced and wily for alli and Pritchard

I think i'd take dembele off, for whoever we adjudge to be the best replacement. Either Pritchard or Lamela I guess. I thought Mason had a good half to be fair.

Dembele must be taken off and put Pritchard on instead. He simply slooooows our play every thing he touches the ball. When will coaches get that in their heads? He will never change!

Maybe thats an astute observation...
Its not life or death you're absolutely correct of course. Its just a shame when it gets the point where you don't enjoy a decent half of football against good opposition.

to be honest, it was a choice between mason and bentaleb and I personally think alli for mason would work better. he has been good though this half Mason.

Agreed, limited contribution going forwards though. He just doesn't have assists or goals in his game unfortunately. I'd be playing him as a "6" or not at all though.
