It sounded like there was a group of fans singing quite a lot actually, but it didn't sound loud on the TV at least. Lots of chatter, and at the end it sounded like our own fans started singing "is this the library?".
 
Good game, good win.

But more importantly: Kane, Eriksen and Dele are all hitting form and playing together like we know they can - and Toby is back to tighten up the defence and let Dier return to midfield where he belongs.

Plus we broke our New Wembley hoodoo at last.

Much positivity now.
 
Job well done. Nice to see Dele get a couple of goals. N'Koudou was bright when he came on, I thought. Eriksen had a good game. Kane was aggressive. Walker always running up and down his side, Rosie as well. Winks didn't put a foot wrong, looks so mature for his age and his limited experienced, I'm well impressed. Dier looking a bit shaky at the back, but oh well, should play defensive mid. Great to have Toby back! Loved the reception he got from our fans. :) Glad to finally get a win at Wembley, we needed that.

Now for the EL. Draw is on the 12th of December. Not a whole lot of impressive teams left in that cup, so should be something there for us. But I said that when we drew our CL group as well, so nevermind. :p

Indeed! The only thing that keeps me sort of comfy is that usually when he misses his sitters either

a) he eventually scores
b) we don't lose

He scored only once. Don't steal laurels from Akinfeev who scored another one with a beautiful scissor kick. Igorgimovich!
