Eh. I'll take that point. Palace away is always hard, they're in great form, and we made about a dozen grest chances but were typically, typically denied by an inspired goalkeeper who is otherwise mid-table trash for all his other games - the type only we face, again and again.
Buuuut....I really cannot, cannot understand how we were so dominated for 40 minutes straight in the second half. We fell back time and again, were second to absolutely every ball, were lazy and weak, and, worst of all, utterly stupid. Fine, if you're winning everything in the air, then sit deep and head it away. But we were losing everything in the air, being outmuscled and outfought, and we *still* just sat there and took it until the inevitable equalizer, when we suddenly woke up.
Why? Where is the game intelligence, the game management to know that we need to keep the ball away from our box since they would win everything in the air? This is Palace's game plan, and will always be their game plan - get it to Zaha, shimmy, whack a cross into the box, win the second ball, goal. But we just sat there and took it. Sigh.
Otherwise, as I said, decent point. On another day, their keeper is just okay and we score 5 to their 1.
