***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur Vs AFC Bournemouth, Sun 20th Mar 2016***

But utd now have a chance of CL, and have something to play for when they come to WHL. Will make that game a whole lot harder for us.

I don't agree a 'whole' lot harder. Was never going to be a gimme was it? They were never going to come and fold mate.

Complete dominance. I don't think I've felt more relaxed (well, relatively: this is Spurs, after all) about a game all season. :)

Excellent performance from the lads, Wimmer and Kane the stand-outs (although the full-backs and Alli also had impressive games).

2 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses will get us to 70. Nine points from seven games: now, if we do better than expected in our next two (let's say picking up at least one win, or perhaps two draws), then we can start thinking of 73 points, a club record total and one I don't think Arsenal will be able to surpass this season.

Let the league lie, focus on increments, lads.

A GREAT game. JOB DONE - for now
One of our best performance I have seen - albeit on TV.
We dominated all aspects of the game - possession, shorts on goal, corners etc.
We should have scored more.

For some of us optimists, it is one more step to to the ultimate goal.
Keep the faith guys.
We COULD go all the way.

Great to take the 3 points given its after an EL game. Now there cant be any excuses about distractions etc....7 cup finals, all with a week to prepare.

Or we can stop thinking about random points totals and permutations after every single game :p

Would that they were all as comfortable. Could have been 5-0 or more, had we been more clinical (although I fear that's fated to be the story of our season in the end; it's the reason we dropped 4 points against the Arse alone.)

*Never*! Such things lead to grandiose dreams that shatter themselves on the cold, hard cliffs of reality.

Doing the math is the safe option for perennial pessimists like myself. :)

We were so dominant. It didn't feel like a Spurs game. MP bringing an ease to games that we are not used to. Where was the tension, struggle, injustice!? Amazing performance.

Critically, they gave Lloris a lot of time on the ball in those opening seconds. We'd never have let an opposition keeper settle on the ball, let alone assess his options, take a few touches and pull out a clean long pass (which went to Walker, who got a great cross in).

I don't begrudge Leicester. The League is there's to loose. Only frustration for me were those series of draws when we dominated games. We were so clearly the better side - arse away, pool, etc. We outplayed teams consistently but were not ruthless taking the points. Poch looks to have sorted that, and now we need all of that ruthlessness (how much of it comes from Alli's drive?) in the next 7. We'll see where we end up. Beating arse and finishing 2nd will be sensational in itself.

Super win today. One that will do wonders for the belief in the camp. We made Bournemouth look really poor and they are not. The early goal of course massively helped but we did not let up and I'd say that was probably our best half of football all season.

Bet those lads cannot wait to get up to Anfield in a fixture we'd usually dread, I think we'll be chomping at the bit. COYS

Just got back in. All I can say is...Thank You Spurs. After my recent visit to the GP regarding my blood pressure, today was exactly what my doctor ordered.

A comfortable and enjoyable afternoon at the Lane. Oh how it would happen more. What was beginning to feel like a sh#t weekend grew increasingly better from the moment we listened to Pelle equalise driving to the game.

Cracking finish to the weekend.

I still think the game against the Spammers at WHL was the best football we've played. This one was more of managing the result, which in itself was great, because we did it so sublimely. We have made almost every team we played look poor, with the exception of the Spammers at UP (how strange is it that our best and worst games were against the same team).

Victimpool are a dangerous side and can definitely put a couple past us, but if we took Villa and Bournemouth this seriously, I can only imagine how seriously we'll take them, which will likely result in another great performance.

COYS!
