***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vNorwich City, Sunday 23rd February 16:00

Again I dont like that central midfield no creativity and Capoue doesn't deserve to start. Lennon on the left and Dembele on the right didnt work last time (he subbed both of them off)

We won 4-0 mate, must've worked to some degree.

Naughton and Dawson are big downgrades on Walker and Kaboul but I'm hopeful we can get through with the three points.

And the bench today is so unbalanced Friedel, Fryers, Chadli, Eriksen, Townsend, Kane, Soldado.
One defensive player, Eriksen the only central midfield option, 2 out and out wingers, a striker, a player who can play on the wing and upfront and eriksen can play out wide too.

Yeah, I mean why didn't Sherwood just put Kaboul on there, or Chiriches, or Sandro, or even Lamela. What is he thinking?

Not a very good team unfortunately. Like others I don't see why we aren't playing Eriksen.

Don't get Capoue, looked appalling the last few games. Hopefully he'll really stake his claim today.

He's started 4 CM's there so not exactly essential to load the bench up with them as well. I guess with Kaboul, Walker, Chirches and Sandro all injured there's not too much choices defensively he could put on the bench.

It baffles me why Eriksen didn't start on Thursday if Sherwood never intended to have him in the starting line-up today. Surely it would have made more sense to rest one out of Capoue/Paulinho/Bentaleb?

Is his new name Ledley Kaboul or Younes King? What do we do to our CB's. Chiriches picking up knocks too.

Not confident of a win today, I think we may well have to settle for snatching a late draw

From Ossie to Houllier in such a short space of time.

That team is still more than good enough to pick up a result today but the negativity that has been shown lately is pretty frustrating. Eriksen should be starting, by far our best forward thinking midfielder.

Leaving Naughton exposed. GHod help us.

Yeah... GHod help us against the might of Norwich!

I wonder if there's been a match recently where people don't become incredibly negative even before the match has begun

As good a player as Kaboul is when he's fit, time to let him go at the end of this season. Its a shame but the guy cant play games and thats his job unfortunately

maybe tim is saving eriksen for more technical teams.
we need to win this just to keep up with the jonses.

Yea those early gung ho attitudes and selections are disappearing a bit. Hoping that at home against lesser teams he still goes for it though, I liked the look of the Soldado / Ade partnership.

Capoue I think needs to start because he was so woeful on Thursday. Eriksen a greater mystery. Keeping the same team as won 0-4 away makes sense. But he's quality and should be in the team. I'm sure he will be on Thursday. Maybe he had a slight knock. By leaving him out last Thursday, Sherwood is clearly indicating he's in his first team plans.

you guys crack me up, it's essentially the same set up as against Saudi Sportswashing Machine just with some necessary changes in the defense due to injuries and iirc we done pretty well there

Our leader :)
"We made a lot of changes at Saudi Sportswashing Machine as well as Dnipro," he said. "Everyone's going to be part of it. There is no point me telling them 'We're going to need everyone' and then never changing it.

"We've been shuffling the pack and still getting positive results. So all the players feel loved and wanted."

If I was a Spurs fan, I'd be taking my boots to the game.

Exactly Id have thought people learnt their lesson from the previous game but hell no - **** that - lets make the same comments woooooooooohooooooooooo.

They will come at us but that team out there is good enough to win.
