I still can't believe Wolves paid £50m for that Silva guy. Yes he's young, but the lad can't hit a barn door from 1 meter. I really don't see why he's so highly rated. Absolutely noting special from what I've seen of him. Decent technical player, but lacks pace, looks week, and his finishing is awful.

fair enough, but i believe he was better then decent. I know you do not rate him that highly ( which is fair enough as Stop! Hammer time). But he is always on the move and looking for the killer pass and once he is fully fit and settled into a stronger CM i do believe he will/could be a top player for us. We shall see.

Of course you can.
Many times a player has come on at half time and changed the game with a motm display. Doesn't stop him getting the award for 45 minutes does it?

I think he did a lot of good work allowing dele to shine and Peh to do his job.
Still think dele was motm though.

True, but it wasn't a MotM performance. Its not like he bossed the game. Both Dele and Kane were better.
 
We were a bit more cautious than against Leeds. Son and Bale more disciplined to track back. Wolves should have scored if we're honest. They had plenty of openings mainly via Tarore. We still eased off once 2-0 which is okay against a poor Wolves side, but looks sloppy and would cost points against better more motivated sides. We need a set way of playing and to keep our foot on the opposition's throat. We often lack ruthlessness and discipline.

Alli and Bale were both good first half. LeCelco was decent, but like Alli you have to accept he will lose the ball when things he tries don't come off. They are both similar in that regard. When it works they looks awesome, when it doesn't its frustrating. Alli was fresh and on it, and could have had MOM. He lacked a bit of cutting edge in the final third though, which you can't say about Kane. We take his awesomeness for granted sometimes. He got my MOM.

I assumed he was his agent, but even though he’s not:

Super agent Jorge Mendes made bumper money from Wolves' club record swoop for Porto striker Fabio Silva.

Porto have informed the Portuguese stock exchange they will pay Mendes' Gestifute agency £6.4m out of the £35m transfer fee they received from Wolves for Silva.

I think given the fact he’s been in and out of the side he’s put in some really mature performances. Really hope he’s one of the two options for next season and still think he could be a CB too.

I like defenders who defend, nice if they can added to attacking but doing their job is the most important thing. Hes not frightened to get forward but has enough sense to give it to the people with greater attacking ability.
