A few more shots from distance would have been nice. It seemed that Kane wasn't quite up to speed (unsurprising) so a lot of our approach play, even if it had found him, stood a lesser chance of bearing fruit. If they were expecting us to fire in more attempts from range, it might have caused them to come out a little more and given a tiny bit more room for Son, Eriksen, Alli, Kane & Lamela to rush in and around the box.

The one defeat coming against the best team this league has maybe ever seen? The seventh match a very unlucky draw? No time to hang one's head, in my opinion. It's a poor result on paper, but our performance warranted 3 points, in my opinion, but the margins weren't with us. Simple as that.

You are right. Trickery, that something special is what you need then. Or worldy shots like Bale used to give us.
We really had no impact players to pull off the bench.
I still feel if we had someone like Mahrez in our team it would make a lot of difference in these situations. Someone who can do the unexpected, take on a player etc.
