Shame - the Graun writers predicting our doom will have to wait another week. But we needed that, so fudging badly.

I think he was a long way off his best and gave it away too many times, some of which in dangerous areas, he’s much much better than what we saw today, against, it must be said, a very poor side.

I’m knackered, I was in the Paxton and feel like I was playing in between Jan and Toby, I was mentally kicking everything away! Kane mom for me, followed by Sissoko and Winks. Shout out to Rose as well. We needed that, great backs to the wall performance that showed the desire that’s been lacking of late.
 
Hopefully we keep that width going forwards, made such an difference to our attack today.

Still feel that if we got that width on the other side we'd be flying.

Yeah best game I've seen from Kane in a while. Really worked hard and took a lot of pressure off us by making the ball stick.

In a way, it's not the performance I want from him but in the circumstances, just like the team performance, it was excellent.
