OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Rangers ** Thursday 12 December 2024.

We got away with one there. So fudging poor. Forster and Dragusin are the only ones to come out of that with credit for me. Even Deki gave the ball away cheaply at times.

Ange underachieving in a big way at the moment but he’s not being helped. We badly need another CF because when Dom is out, we look fudging clueless.
Not just CF, Anges LW options were Werner, then Johnson, then Son. Fudge me, people say you can't complain about injuries but that is horrible options for that position alone - Moore and Odobert can't come back soon enough....

I struggle to watch, and definitely to be too invested. It’s awful. I haven’t got the “It’s entertaining” thing since last January. What’s entertaining about watching the opposition shooting at will?
The way we play reminds me of watching my son play in under 7s matches. His team get the ball, they all run forward shoot wide, their keeper kicks it out it bounces, our keeper falls over and the other team score.

I think they mean 'entertaining for the neutral ' ?

there are no true neutrals in football

pundits put it on, but there is always one line up with more of a link to a club you hate

doesn't matter who is playing, I can always find one ex dipper clam/relative/admirer to hate on

anyone who really was neutral wouldn't watch in the first place

Must be the same as people enjoying being a cuckold. That's a lifestyle choice that I'm not interested in either.

Which it is to be fair. We don’t do 0-0s and right up to the end you had no idea who’d win.

If anyone “just wanted entertaining football” when Jose and Conte were here, this is it. It’s just not successful football.

I really hope that what we’re doing completely disproves the “attack is the best form of defence” nonsense. It isnt. Good defending is the best form of defence…and we don’t do it.

Well I'm sure HRs team and Pochs team were regularly called entertaining and defending was still part of it.

It's not entertaining though. For it to be entertaining, for me, I want to see good quick passing with the intent to go forward but not in a kamikaze way. I see maybe 2-3 really good passing moves in a game, but overall our passing is poor and we look disjointed.

This evening, I thought Dragusin stood up when a few of the others saw their balls shrank. He was tough, defended well, did the right things and his yellow was even a good one. Bit of steel that very few others had.

And despite that you know he’ll be dropped again as soon as Romero is able to resume training.

May as well save us a few quid and get ya sons manager in for Spurs

Southampton Sunday. Having seen how they play, if that finishes 0-0, I’ll wear a Woolwich jersey for Christmas.

Will finish about 7-7.
