OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Rangers ** Thursday 12 December 2024.

Better than a loss, but another poor performance. We look disjointed and clueless bar a few great attacks. Need a proper passer in that midfield and some movement. Maddison looks timid and passive for most of the game. Our backs don't contribute much at the moment, but they must be knackered, so can't blame them.
 
We got away with one there. So fudging poor. Forster and Dragusin are the only ones to come out of that with credit for me. Even Deki gave the ball away cheaply at times.

Ange underachieving in a big way at the moment but he’s not being helped. We badly need another CF because when Dom is out, we look fudging clueless.

So many times we have the ball in a good position and nobody's running forward.

And consider we were playing an 18 year old midfielder at CB, I'll take it. Maybe Spence can allow Poro a rest on Sunday? Has Spence been turning up late for training? He seems to have lost favour.

On the upside, Forster showing he's still a competent keeper. Thank fuk! Bergvall is mercurial. Moments where he looks awesome. Others where he's a liability. But you can see a player in there. He can tackle, pass...just want him to have the confidence (and awareness) to run the game. As he could. But his awareness and decision making are not always on point. He's not looking around and seeing the pitch.

A hard place to play, all in all, a severely patched up side did okay.

To be fair, we have a ton of injuries and a lack of confidence. And a coach who doesn’t adapt his fundamental principles to fit his personnel. At all.

Why not give lankshear a go? He’s a CF. A raw, inexperienced one. But at least that’s his position.
