OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Rangers ** Thursday 12 December 2024.

NLS

Thimotée Atouba
Tottenham Hotspur v Rangers away at Ibrox in the Europa League on Thursday 12 December 2024.

Kick off at 8pm and live on TNT sports..

For this game Spurs manager Ange Postecoglu has been delighted to announce that he has a full strength squad to pick from as well the three new signings recently bought for a combined total of £200 million...

With a 100 percent win record in the competition this season, and an excellent run of form in the Premier league, Spurs go into this game full of confidence... As favourites for the trophy this will surely be another win on the road to glory in Spain next May....

Well, not quite but I thought we all needed to imagine happier times...

I haven't got a clue what sort of team we will be able to put out and I suppose we will have to wait until the press conference to hear the latest injury and illness update....

so who is fit, and not suspended?

Forster
Porro Dragusin Gray Udogie
Bissouma
Bentencur Maddison
Kulusevski Lankshear Werner
Sarr, Solanke, Bergvall and Son could be options as well
Rangers have scored 14, in their last 4 games, conceding 1
we, on the other hand have scored 7 and conceded 8

They are above us in the table as well, so while we should beat them, that doesn't mean we will.

Swap Sarr or Bergvall for Maddison. This is a fixture for fighters, not show ponies. Son and Johnson can come on at the end if necessary.

You don't agree... pal?

It's not about whether i agree or not....

....it's about whether you've made an automatic consultation....

I was hoping that Bissouma and Bentancur sitting in behind Maddison would give us enough strength. Might lack a decent passer if we don't have Maddison on. Bergvall might work though.
I'm not sure Johnson will play any part after he came off Vs Chelsea.

A game at Ibrox is definitely a game for fighting, not ballet dancing.

I'd start with Bissouma, Bentancur, Sarr, Kulu, Werner and Solanke.

Sarr and Werner will break those lines.

A cold thursday night in Glasgow, with a team well up for meeting an English side with Ange in charge. They will come out all guns blazing. I don't think they're as bad as some seem to think they are. It'll be close, and the team with the most fight in them will win. I reckon we'll lose because of that, but obviously hope I'm wrong.

One day I hope to go to Mars, which I truly believe our lord and saviour Elon Musk will provide.

Till that day I think we should batter any team from the land of 'neeps and tatties quite easily.

That's exactly the type of arrogance that usually trips us up in Europe. Let's hope the players don't have that mindset!

I think they are pretty brick.

But we are a fudging mess, we’d lose to a cluster of colour blind hedgehogs, in a bag.
