I know your desperate to not play wanyama he has been one if our best players by some way - although I'm still not convinced by him and Dembele
 
Our players need protection from thugs like Dier and Dembele. Fortunately, we won't have to put up with Danny Rose pretending to be hurt, he's suspended.

Its gonna be a tough one that's for sure. I reckon if we can get away without a yellow for Costa it will be a good day. They will kick sh*t out of him and try to wind him up no end.

Now I'm worried. I vividly remember how their tactic last time was nothing other than hack our players to pieces. It's not just going to be Costa but Hazard, and quite possibly anyone on or even off the ball. Mr Oliver will be next to useless as per usual. Even if our players survive their studs this match, I wonder if we'll go into the Emirates Marketing Project game with 'No injuries'?

Hopefully we'll play smart, no referee crowding, bait biting and no theatricals when calling for a foul. Then maybe, just maybe the ref might give us some good calls. Get some goals in then bring off Costa and Hazard for their own protection.

Their form in the PL is 1-4-0, and had it not been for a lucky injury time penalty this week-end it means they hadn't won since October 2. I agree with Chelsian, we are big favourites. Don't even think it will be close at all.

Resting a lot of key players in a deadly important CL game because they face us at the week-end. Ha! Eriksen, Vertonghen and Walker all on the bench. What a bunch of ****ers.

At least Mun. U, City, Arsenal and us give it a go to try and win the thing. It seems that Spurs and, last year, Liverpool just want to be in it for the revenue. Small club mentality.

Fullback is fullback. I'd prefer Trippier to Anton Walkes or whoever is the next specialist LB in line.

The whole team has gone all AVB because we aren't transitioning the ball quick enough from CM. It's the big difference in the team from last season. We need Dier back anchoring the pivot for his superior passing. It's not about Wanyama's performances, it's about balance

You need fast wingers to get between their centre halfs and wing backs. It means their wing backs will have to sit back causing their whole system to break down.
Play Son and N'koudou on each side.

I wonder could Sissoko or Dembele play left back?
I don't want to see Wimmer on the pitch against Costa and Hazard.

I get your logic but Full backs need to play on a Side their familiar with for a start

And I agree that dier in theory is our only main change the reality is we have a lot f players playing at sixty Percent of their ability

And Alli is clearly crcoked stil here were trying to shoe horn him in

Winks - Not ready for the battle needed in this.
 
I wonder if the Dier/Wimmer performance last night has put their selection as a pair in to doubt at the weekend?

Any potential options should we play Verts at CB?
