***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Palace***

I noticed that idiotic neutral comment, too. Utter rubbish. I think Vertonghen is more culpable for the goal - in my opinion it was a silly little pass to play to eriksen right on the edge of his own area, while under pressure. I know we like to play the ball out but sometimes you actually do need to put your foot through it.

This cnut said the same thing after Sunderland scored against us. He was just willing them to score in that game and now in this one.

Yep I said it at the start, this is game for our more physical players. Palace have obviously been coached to unsettle us with a bit of rough stuff, and it's working. Ref is letting them get away with a lot of small niggly fouls.

TRUE. Eriksen and Alli look out of this game.

Very disappointing if we lose this and Leicester go on to win, it would be very hard to overhaul them into 3rd (should they eventually return to being "Leicester" again rather than continuing as "Super-Leicester) and means a difficult fight for 4th.

I had really hoped beating Leicester in the cup meant we had maybe got a slight psychological edge on them...

Lets hope we turn it up a few notches in the second half.

Need to pass the ball forward into dangerous areas early. Don't mind conceding possession too much if passes go astray, but we need to create clear cut chances in and around their box.

By the way does anyone else find it uncomfortable to see fans at English clubs waving around 'ultra' banners at matches, amid media fanfare declaring how brilliantly noisy and dedicated they are? The 'ultra' tag in Europe carries appalling aggressive, racist and far-right meaning. We don't want that here.

Don't like the idea of Alli/Dembele DMs. Alli likes to get involved in attack, which is good, but can leave us exposed. And we don't get the benefit of Dembele moving forward. Will be interesting. Although Dier's passing may have been off, he is usually defensively reliable and good re positioning. Maybe he was injured.
