Well that has spoiled Souness and Redknapps evening....
No he needs to play here
He looks a better fit than Bissouma for us
Remember that interview Bissoima had with Yaya where he said he wants to play like him. Well Sarr is far more likely to achieve that. Even just from a playing style comparison.Sarr looks decent
Nice to see.
Maybe we have more depth than we thought
will shut the bedwetters up until next weekend
Spurs in the cup against lower league opposition. We've all seen that movie before.
Sarr looks like he's ready. Maybe not against the top 4, but against any team in the lower half he looks like he can easily hold his own. I also liked White's cameo. That kid has a peach of a left foot.I was impressed by Sarr when he came on! Didn't hide, tackled, won the ball back, made sensible decisions. Very good!
I do seem to recall some comments from Spence regarding his playtime. Could be that such things don't sit well with Conte.Nah... Of course he picks Royal when we're 4-0 up... Why? Just why???
Oliver always seems to have control. So many prem refs currently are fudging scaredA game of one and a half half. Good for Son, saw signs in the first half where he at least tried to do stuff he does when on form. Hopefully this is a turning point for him as a confidence player, as this game was so set out to be.
MoM Bryan Gil, involved in every goal with an assist and 2 hockey assists. Poor first half overall, but who hadn't. Note to Conte: it's a lot easier to win games when you score first.
And it feels good to say that Oliver had a good game, not like some of the attention-seeking individuals who has (dis)graced the pitch so many times. Didn't get any important decisions wrong, not that there were many but still, credit where credit's due.
If conte can’t take a players honesty then he should maybe quitI do seem to recall some comments from Spence regarding his playtime. Could be that such things don't sit well with Conte.
I liked that he played it safe, and didn't risk overimpressing and ruining his career before it has started. Smart.Sarr looks like he's ready. Maybe not against the top 4, but against any team in the lower half he looks like he can easily hold his own. I also liked White's cameo. That kid has a peach of a left foot.
Hopefully, good performances from some fringe players. Gill did well, Skipp a mixed bag and Sarr looked really good.
