***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v nottingham forest***

Can’t see us getting anything here unless Ange adapts, which we know he won’t. Hit it’s fine, we will lose 4-2 and people will say it’s all down to injuries and nothing to do with the style of play.

Where is all of this optimism coming from? We have injuries galore, and even then we don’t know what spurs team will turn up even with a depleted team … on top of that we have a manager who doesn’t play to the strengths of the team and is one dimensional. Nuno is going to get his revenge on us. I’m going to put a bet on us losing.

And if you don't buy it, you're a bad person and are a big part of why we are struggling. Essentially, it's your fault for not believing enough. To be in keeping with the season, it's a bit like Father Christmas. Successful football clubs are powered by the totally quantifiable and objective measurements of belief, hope and positivity.

Expecting a dogged close game but can’t see us winning with the lack of options
Do hope mage pangs Bents instead of Biss and Spence for Porro
Maybe also we’re instead of son
Ideally id like Johnson right and Kulu central but Johnson on the right against a mid block doesn’t make sense

Forest have a lot of pace of the wings and a good aerial target in Woods (how appropriate, eh) who often scores against us.

It would seem a game for me when we play a mid highline: not too high, not too deep. We don't want Woods getting too many headers in the box as he will be lethal; We also don't want the likes of Elanga and Huson-Oddoi running in behind towards Forster.

To combat these issues i'd start the following:

Forster

Spence, Dragusin, Gray, Udogie

Bentancur Kulusevski (if he can) Sarr

Johnson Solanki Werner

Big, BIG test. And Nuno will get them well up for it. If we are our usual defensively, this could easily be more embarrassing than the Liverpool game...

Because we finally have Mario Kempes, Sean Connery AND Sir Tom Jones WITH a badger! Tactics be fudged, with THAT line-up, can it be anything other than 4-2 away win????

Interesting data grab from reddit

- Post August, Spurs has played 24 matches
- Post August, Forest and Bournemouth have played 15

That's a big delta

Shows we need to prioritise.

Should have binned off the league cup, could have saved a few games there.

Forster

Spence Dragusin Dorrington Udogie

Grey
Bentancur Kulu

Johson Solanke Werner

I think we will see Spence on the bench.

I hope I'm wrong, but I can see him starting udogie and Porro and it will be because Spence hasn't played much and needs to manage game time.

Hopefully see Johnson back in so Kulusevski can go central.

Enjoy Christmas for those that celebrate
For those that don’t, have a peaceful day of enjoyment
The football will no doubt bring us all back down to earth as it always does but at least it’s our club, our team and something that at time united us as silly fools cheering for 11 men kicking a bag of air
