*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United ***

Show the same passion at Anfield that we showed in the 2nd half and
1/ I won't mind, and
2/ We might even give them a real run for their money

I don't know if we gave up the chance. There's a momentum you can have when you're the one chasing a Gamez but once you get that equaliser that same energy and momentum drops. It's usually the case, I think we just didn't have another gear to go up to win the game.

Running the clock and taking a forward off for a defender signals intention.

Anfield is a free hit I think. No-one expects us to get anything there, so limited downside

A continue to hate this formation though. Yet another game where we get over-run in midfield as we only have 2 in there and no-one else within 20 yards of them

There's still so much room for improvement, but it was refreshing to see more good offensive moves from us than I can remember in quite a while. It was an entertaining game with players who actually looked like they cared.

I'll take that for now.

Yep, poor old Skipp and Hojbjerg are expected to do the job of 6 men. They really aren't great, but by GHod we can't expect them to do the job of 6 men.

There must be some better way of forming a team where we don't look so disjointed and awkward.

Personally I think Son and Deki are way below the standard right now. Son has lost all confidence and bite. Deki is too slow and lazy and predictable and has lost belief.

So I would use Kane and Richy up top, with Danjuma coming on. That allows another body in midfield.
Having Kane and Richy as a strikeforce is decent compared to other teams.

Why does part of me want Mason to have a run of results, prove he’s got more about him than I thought he had as a manager and get the job full time.

Yeah it’s knee jerk, yeah it’s just heart over head, yeah it’s ridiculous. But imagine being able to get behind a young lad who loves the club like we do who wants to play in the best traditions of our club.

It'll never happen but yeah, think the romantic in us all would love that

I get what you're saying but no. Just no.

Firstly he needs to prove himself somewhere where he is under pressure to get results. Filling in for a few games after a manager has been sacked is not the same thing.

And most importantly, when things go tits up - and they will - it could ruin the guy and his potential before he's really got started in the management game.

There's plenty of time for him to come back and manage here if he's good enough....

I hope not, that’s what happened with Solksjaer at United, it’s just kicking the can down the road.

He’s not ready yet.

Yeah I know you’re both right but, fudge it, I’m gonna dream a bit. It may be stupid but it’s a little chink of Spurs tinted light.

That dream will likely be well and truly buried by 6:30 on Sunday.

Well done boys ..

So easy after that second to feel hard done by

Came back, could have won, draw probably fair

Another bottle job by the ref, United should have been down to 10 twice ..
