With strict instructions to stay upfield and run in behind. No defensive duties for him just harassing their backline all game. Just okay like he used to, not some ConteEsque sham.
Hojberg is fudging toss.Skipp is our weakest link in the midfield. Only reason ppl put him in the team is becouse his english and home player.
Hojbjerg beats him on all the stats, Skipp aint half the player Hojbjerg is.

They're two different types of players. PEH is at his best when pushed forward and can chase players and close down. He is not a defensive midfielder, he hasn't got the instincts for it, is not disciplined enough, and loses concentration letting players run off him into the box. You know Son got the golden boot whilst being managed by Conte right?
Agree on the idea you're proposing if there's a solid defensive structure behind him (which we currently lack) but this notion Conte had put the shackles on him doesn't match up with how productive/ lethal he was last season under his tutelage. I do feel that the interview about not shooting from certain positions has been somewhat blown out of proportion in a classic GG kind of way.
They've not wised up. Son has said himself that he was told to play a different role, and even discouraged from shooting from distance! Incredible stuff really, telling players to stop doing what they're best at!It's a good point, both Son and Kane had great seasons last season in 3-4-3...but I think teams wised up to us though, and as such it has been far, far tougher this.

More than Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and the People's Champions Poocastle ??I fudging hate Utd more then any other team, i would love it if we beat them.
I watched his 100 goals compilation on Sky the other day so many of his goals were rockets from long distance, he is one of the bestIs that true? He was discouraged from shooting from distance in spite of being the golden boot winner (joint) last season?! If so, that’s completely ridiculous and total mismanagement of him and his talent.

Must not utterly embarrass...

I think he did a number on us by just instructing his players to shoot Foster in goal please....And ETH did a number on us before by instructing his players to shoot from distance at every opportunity, so let's shut that down too.
