Strange lack of posts complaining about not making a defensive sub until so late in the gane when it was obvious the tide had turned
 
Think there were lots of encouraging signs. Lo Celso just looks brilliant, thinks and plays quickly, truly creative, great technique. Love to see Tanganga in the middle because he looks like a great defender with superb focus. Aurier again at fault for their goal, you just can't trust him. Hope we Tanganga move to the right when Davies comes back in.
 
Only saw second half but thought we looked very secure defensively until around 10 mins before the goal. Then Toby makes a stupid mistake and got away with it. Ings is left unmarked and should have scored before Aurier fudges up.

Aurier is unfortunate because his mistake got punished but it's always fudging him. He was good other than that too. I also think we were visibly wilting from 75 mins and mistakes were creeping in so Jose should have brought in Dier and Vertonghen sooner.

We're getting there but that's fudging frustrating as was some of our ball retention. Frustrated but not despondent.

Son was horrendous on that cross too. Much too easy for Redmond to beat him.

Not even hitting the target on a great chance, tackled lucas for some reason and then lost the ball, bizarrely dribbled off the pitch on one occasion, ultra selfish on a counter keeping it all to himself until he lost it, bizarrely pushing a soton player in the back giving them a dangerous free kick. I’ve also probably forgotten one or two more.

My interpretation of this poor form is him feeling sorry for himself but why? fudging man up and stop being a pussy.

Son was driving me mad today; a very poor display.
