*** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Hull City Tigers *** Capital One Cup

I genuinely have absolutely no words for that performance, especially the 2nd half one (I was only really able to watch properly after our goal so perhaps we were outstanding beforehand).

The only positive I guess is that from what I can tell, a lot of their players are the same ones we played just a few days ago so they'll hopefully tire before ours and we can grind them down before we get to penalties.

Will this be a discussion, or was that a loaded question mate? I have my opinions as you doubtless can guess...

I just find it hard to understand why not one of our summer purchases has looked at all likely this season? I accept that one or two may take some time to settle, but all 8? Something seems wrong to me somewhere?

its like the players dont know what to do when we concede a goal.....everytime we have conceded this season we have completely forgot how to play

So Walker, Vertonghen, Dembele and Paulinho play 120 minutes before Sunday, excellent.

Well, Walker's the only problem. Chiriches can easily cover for Verts, and with the reintroduction of Sandro we only play one of Dembele and Paulinho anyway, either of whom can be replaced by the very similar Holtby should the need arise. Considering that Naughton's gone off injured, though, Walker's extended involvement is a problem. I hope Rose gets fit in time for Everton, because we won't have much threat down either wing if he doesn't play given Walker's probable tiredness.
