Only positive I can find from this half would be that Odobert actually looks like someone who actually can dribble past his defender. Will probably the first to be taken off by clueless Ange

The entire front 3 are static.
Odobert slightly less so than the other 2x but there is zero movement.
We are bombing forward as normal as leaving gaps all over the place, Doku has that 1/4 of the pitch to himself, standard tactic v us - tell the wingers to just stay wide and they are in.

Very poor first half. Emirates Marketing Project aren't really doing anything to us, we seem to be the architects of our own downfall today. Really slow and ponderous on the ball and turning over the ball for no reason at all. Both Udogie and Porro have been exposed a number of times. Would definitely prefer Spence to be playing. Hope Ange makes some changes at half time because things are not clicking right now.
On the plus side, somehow its only 1-0 and i think if we can sort ourselves out we will be able to cause them problems. Still a chance to take something from this game.

Unsurprisingly we don't look like a familiar team. Our passing, our thinking, our movement is too slow. Men against boys so far. City should have scored at least 2-3. Yet we are only 1 down and all to play for. Can these kids and squad players raise their game second half?
