***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea, Tue May 19th, 8.15pm, Stamford Bridge ***

Shed End isn’t viewable any more with an adblocker, so I’m basing what Chelsea fans think on a brief look at their subreddit (which naturally is an unrepresentative sample, skewed to international fans), but there seems to be almost no interest there in tonight’s game: all the chat is about Alonso’s potential impact and transfers this summer. This season has been given up as a bad job and Conference League football is seen as a humiliation best avoided.

This augurs well in terms at least of atmosphere tonight.

Most of their fans from the peak Abramovich days seemed to migrate to City about a decade ago anyway, so I'm not really sure what the profile of the ones remaining is

Still completely weird watching the coverage and the assumption now that West Ham are basically down. I just don’t think that’s the case. It’s a massive step forward for us, but lose to Chelsea which we’re more than capable of doing, and if West Ham win at home, and we lose at home, both of which are very possible to happen…then we’re down.

Gallagher vs Caicedo could decide this game
I just hope we manage to keep 11 on the pitch for the whole game. We've sabotaged ourselves far too often this season. At least if we have 11 on the pitch there's a chance, even if its a slim one.
I think it's about Palinha and Bentancur. If they control the midfield and let Gallagher press then I think we keep a clean sheet. The only problem is I don't see enough chances being created. Also, Richy might be in a brick space right now after the Brazil snub. Or he might be fired up ready to bang in a hat trick.

No overheads or not wacking the ball away under pressure in the box then we good. Just need zero brainfarts.
