***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea, Tue May 19th, 8.15pm, Stamford Bridge ***

Still completely weird watching the coverage and the assumption now that West Ham are basically down. I just don’t think that’s the case. It’s a massive step forward for us, but lose to Chelsea which we’re more than capable of doing, and if West Ham win at home, and we lose at home, both of which are very possible to happen…then we’re down.

All very true, but to be honest at this point of the season, if we can’t take a point against Chelsea and/or Everton then we will deserve to go down as we have got ourselves in this situation.

We can absolutely lose both, and West Ham can beat Leeds. However the players should be going into these next two bang up for them knowing they need one point to continue playing Premier league football, West Ham have given them an a lightly chance back - if we mess it up from here we only have ourselves to blame.

It’s mad, we’re so close to safety and yet miles off at the same time. Personally I think it goes to the last day with us not taking anything from Chelsea, but I have to believe we can get at least a point from Everton.

if we can continue playing well away, defend in a low block, let them come at us and grab a goal any which way

we have massively improved and become more positive in our in game decision making

keep calm and support the lads

I do agree, if we go down from the position we were handed at the end of the Arsenal / West Ham game, we’ll completely deserve it.

It's the best result we could hope for, but I'll relax once that last point is in the bag. Anything could still happen, but the West Ham players must be massively disappointed after such a result. More than ever, it's up to us to finish the job.

Even I Mr Negative think that at this point we are probably safe. We need just a point between the two games, we should be capable of that and to some extent the pressure being off a little bit should actually help us feel confident and the football to flow.
