I guess he believes in the 11 he selected so I don't know if regret would be the way he terms it. He probably feels let down by their lack of quality. I do think going into this match against Chelsea with just 2 CMs, a pair who are not renowned for their possession play or passing ability, was a mistake and a fairly predictable one at that. However the manager has to learn from trying things out.

This guy isn’t getting paid to learn things like that. Skipp is doing very well but we’re now relying on him as part of a 2 where he is the superior player.

Sanchez played well. Davies, good pro but boy does he give away quite a few needless fouls. Did ok for about 10-15 minutes, the rest we were naff and got away with 2-0. Ironically 2 goals that could easily have been avoided.
