People always find something to moan about.

Kaboul needs nursing, look at him, he couldn't complete 90 minutes in what was pretty much a training game for him, can't even make the bench today. Sandro was out for six months, he's being eased back in and there's no reason to break up the Dembele/Paulinho combo which bossed Norwich last week. Lamela as well is being eased in, droping Townsend so quickly isn't going to do him much good at all and it's not like he's been horrendous. Sigurdsson scored two in his last league game so he starts again, Naughton is our back up full-back so it makes sense that he comes in for Rose. Throwing Chiriches into his first game away to Cardiff isn't a great idea, let him play at Villa and a couple of Europa games first. Defoe is obviously injured, no need for conspiracy theories.
 
Disappointed Lamela won't start today. Hopefully he's first on for Siggy/Townsend if they aren't looking good.
