*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Cardiff City, Sunday 22nd September***

Think i'd leave it for another ten-fifteen minutes. The right hand side is working well, the left not so well.

Naughton is not a left back so Sig doesn't have anyone to link up with.

The commentary team I'm listening to seem convinced that Lloris handballed it. I don't think his hand ever left the area, surely the contact must be over the whole of the line, but it wasn't.

Angle was terrible for the corner at the end, but again it didn't look like there was much in it.

Okay so half time..

We've looked great going forwards for 35 minutes, everyone contributing, everyone getting involved, needed to be more clinical.

Then we've been **** for 10-15 minutes, Lloris lucky to be on the pitch, stupid to conceed a corner, fortunate not to concede (I find it hard to tell what happens on corners on a **** stream)..

Regarding the disallowed corner...Cardiff player clearly pushed off on Dawson and then held him down by the shoulders.

Hmmm had a few chances but i do get the impression that against these kind of sides some of our players get incredibly complacent in their performances and i don't understand why. We have been let off a few times through gifting Cardiff chances not through their good play but due to our own completely unnecessary mistakes (naughton/lloris). I think Turner was all over the top of Dawson so don't think the goal was unfairly disallowed, the Lloris call could have gone against us but it was a nigh on impossible call to make.

A few need a kick up the backside and we need to step it up. Shame because there was a good part of that half where we looked like we were going to take them apart.

fancy that, a right back playing **** at left back

If AVB sees BAE cannot offer what he wants then he should have realized that Naughton doesn't feel comfortable on the left.
Can i say it's a wrong decision to loan out BAE especially when we are failed to bring in Coentrao?

Totally lost our way towards the end of the half, making too many unforced errors to concede possession cheaply, after having been all over them in the first half-hour but failing to take any of numerous chances. Sounds sort of fimiliar, somehow.

You can, but none of those points are going to help us win today.

Absolutely dominant. But my word we got some silly mistakes in us.no doubt Lloris should be off. Can't say we never get lucky.

Non existent left side as I thought without Rose. Townsend has been superb.

was Lloris definitely fully over the line - the whole of the ball over the whole of the line when he handled? hard to tell but looked like it could have been on the line to me??

not sure i could say either way, and i guess the officials weren't sure so maybe he's entitled to be on the pitch?

Sigurdsson need to get involved far more.

The loss of Rose has affected Siggy the most. He needs that runner outside him so he has options either side when he collects the ball. He also has more license to roam in field and overload their CBs.

I wish Townsend had better judgement on when to push the tempo and when to be patient. When we are set up around the box it seems like he panics and tries to force the issue instead of passing the ball on and waiting for an opportunity to open up.
