He knitted together some fine possession/chances in and around the box, won a free-kick in a dangerous position and tried one flick that didn't come off. Typically, that is what most (not you per se) are talking about.
He was up and down, but I agree, that last (admittedly stupid) flick is what people are remembering. Before that he played Son in with an adept touch and turn, so I can't be too harsh with that last one that didn't come off.
