*OMT Tottenham Hotspur v c...sea *

OK. I need to rewatch it on tv to get it closer up but it looked more difficult than a straight ‘tap-in’.

100%. Owen did a bit of analysis on it, and pointed out that he had to a) swivel to meet it, b) do a little hop with his standing foot to get over it, and c) direct it while off balance and moving backwards.

It's a brilliant goal disguised as a relatively simple one - and that is Harry's forte, and always will be. The great players make difficult things look very simple.

We're looking a lot more solid now, helped in the last couple games from our two most defensive options playing at WB

The lack of creativity remains and wont be solved this season, but we don't look like we need to score 3 in order to win any more

Wolves, Forest and Southampton in the next 3 games provides a great opportunity to build momentum. Saudi Sportswashing Machine go to Emirates Marketing Project next weekend when we play Wolves - could be 7 points ahead of them having played 2 more next Sat evening

The (probable) cup final loss could really fudge them up also for the next few games

That nutmeg inside our 16 yard box... Not something I want him to attempt on a regular basis, but it was fudging beautiful!

It was, and I love the guy and he was immense today…but on a couple of occasions he was very very lax and almost cost us. It was like he was sleepwalking at times.

Nah. He's like the bloke in the pub. Easy going, chill but if someone starts he just ko's them with one punch. Then walks off like nothing happened.

@DubaiSpur what did you make of Felix?
I thought he was brilliant and crap at the same time
He was everywhere first half which meant he was never where needed. Played really well though
Second half he was hiding for me

Agree with you - honestly seems like he's pretty easily rattled, which is surprising to me given he played in an uncompromising Simeone team for as long as he did. Expected him to have more bottle.

First half, I thought he was pretty effective in creating overloads and getting past our mid-block as Chelsea's main outlet in the middle.

But he was in a few rough tackles towards the end of the 45, then got easily beaten to the ball by Skippy for our first, and never recovered after that.

Also noticed he rarely went near Romero in the second 45, which grew more and more funny to me the more it became obvious that he was doing it on purpose to not get two-footed. :D

fudging glorious. I watched too much of that from my head in my hands because I fudging hate them.

We weren’t brilliant but we were very good and very solid. They didn’t have a chance of note from memory. Everyone a 7 or 8 out of 10 with Skipp and PEH the standouts. Thought Forster deserves a lot of credit too. Safe hands and was out like lightening on one of the occasions they threatened.

What a fudging wonderful day. Tremendous beating those odious clams.
You didn't think Romero was a standout ?
I thought he was unbelievable.
Best performance from a central defender that I've seen for a very long time.

Much more intensity, aggression and fight in the last few matches. I love it!!!!

Romero was awesome today and I think him, Royal, Davies, Skip and Richarlison bring a fighting tempo to our game, which means that the others need to step up to....

I always feel that before you can play, you need to fight for the right to play. Think we have been a bit slow and lethargic earlier in the season.

Something has changed (possibly the fighters are now all fit enough to all play).
I totally agree. We had more fight and aggression. Romero , Richarlison lead that.
Son , unfortunately, against better opposition, coughs up possession in dangerous areas and offers nothing defensively.
