***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v BVB***

........which illustrates just how unlikely scoring from a corner is.

HT 1-0 . Very even game. We seemingly can’t score from the myriad dead balls we have this season. It is now getting very aggravating - especially as Chelsea and Arsenal both scored crucial goals against us from free kicks. We are really poor in this department.

We made them work hard after they scored. If we can keep that up after HT they’ll crack, I reckon.

Don't think we are playing that well, but we only need to play a bit better to be beating this lot, as they look pretty sh1t.

Only 1 behind, think we can equalise and get the pressure on them, then win it near the end.

Another game for Rose to try and start finding full match-fitness. Here’s hoping...he looks right now either like a player a month away from his best form or a player who will never quite be the same again.

I think that despite being 1-0 behind to a beautifully crafted and finished goal, we have played very well so far, having at least two great chances denied by two great saves. Defense has been ok, but undone a couple of times, Sanchez in the middle playing a littl ebit deeper and putting Auba onside.

Moving forward, with serge and rose as the fullbacks, has been lively, crisp and swift. Two great saves by their keeper, especially the second one. As a spectacle it's been great to watch, Dortmund's been solid back to front with great moves and passing too.

Match of the Day effect. The fallacy of comparing exceptional actions/results/events from other teams and applying them to the day to day events of one's own team.

It is not MoTD. It is a fact that Arse and Chelsea scored crucial goals against us from free kicks. Are you blind ?
