Forgot to mention as well that Sanchez was fantastic yesterday. Handled all the difficult situations well and never buckled. I still think Sanchez is a better defender than Dier tbh just his weird mid match confidence lapses.

It also suggests to me that Mourinho was bringing out the worst in Dier and Sanchez. After all, they’d both had decent seasons under Poch in the past. (Admittedly they’d got worse before Mourinho joined, but they went down another few levels under him).
